Status: planned. MAS Data Export is the next companion app after MAS Data Import.
It takes records from IBM Maximo Manage out into Excel workbooks, in the same format that MAS Data Import reads. You export the records, change them in Excel, and import the workbook again. The round trip needs no conversion in between.
The same export makes an import template: a workbook with the right sheets and columns for an object, empty or with a few sample rows.
How it will run#
It follows the design of MAS Data Import: a container in the MAS cluster beside Manage, sign-in through MAS, and each user’s own rights in Manage. Both apps share the workbook engine, so a workbook means the same to both.
